Our services

Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) is when a company transfers all (or part) of the recruiting function to an external provider.

Example Project

Prior to engaging January Search, our client was more than four months behind in hiring six individuals.  Additionally, they did not have the internal resources necessary to evaluate the over 1,000 applicants in their database.  Within three weeks the first two hires were made and the process is back on track.

We take a unique approach to retained search.  Unlike our competition, we hold 80% of the risk when utilizing this search method.  Additionally, we provide a single point of contact to provide an added level of instinct that is often lost during a higher-volume, multi-person approach.

For reference, typical executive search firms only hold 34% of the risk with multiple opportunities for tacit knowledge loss.

Example Project

Prior to engaging January Search, our client struggled to attract individuals through standard job marketing practices.  As is the case in many highly competitive industry verticals, direct outreach is necessary to gain the attention of the proper constituency.  Our initial sourcing efforts were completed in 48-hours and we subsequently found the Board Member we were seeking.

Contingent Search is when a company only pays if a hire is made.  Methodologically speaking, our approach remains the same, however, there are a few differences: 1) We don't show our work - utilizing this method, we deliver the bacon, we do not show how it's made.  2) This method is often utilized as a "back up plan" and not for mission critical requisitions.

Example Project

We've worked in Human Capital for a long time - we know a lot of people - we make a lot of connections.  As such, sometimes our clients are open to an exploratory conversation about certain individuals (open requisition notwithstanding).

Most recently, we helped one of our Major Oil & Gas Service Company clients identify, and hire, an exceptional Tax Manager.

We have hosted a number of employment workshops over the years - for Trade Schools, Colleges, and Professional Associations.

The events are customizable to meet the needs of your constituency.

Example Project

We recently visited Texas State University and the Masters program for Quantitative Finance and Economics.  The goal, to ensure this batch of students had a competitive advantage in identifying and landing their dream jobs.
